I'm thinking serpentine belt and check all of it.

Last 3 days (colder here) have a whining. Follows acceleration in volume. No check engine light. Thoughts are alternator belts power steering any others? Thanks

Had the recurrence for a couple months. replaced the gas cap with a non OEM and after a couple tankfuls the problem went away completely.

I replaced my XREAS when it began leaking at 119k. The Bilstiens are equal to or superior around long curves.

4lo is tricky. car in neutral. if it will not engage go into reverse for 10 feet or so. then repeat.
