I just read on an instagram post by arb 4x4 usa that the 4th gen 4runner snorkel will be available early 2017. That only took 3 years.

Ive looked at their website a fair bit but i think the prices are ridiculous for what it is. Add another 1000 or so and you get a complete bumper piece. Just seems as if I'm wasting money with a temp fix. Although i do like the option of removing it for daily driving etc.. Hmm.

Its been a while since I've posted and a fair bit has changed to the rig. Picked up a prinsu designs roof rack and some accessories for it. Added 06+ headlights and taillights with led low beams also. [/URL]~original[/IMG] [/URL]~original[/IMG]

4x4 labs has a 4th gen option, its a bit sleeker and looks better then the cbi in my opinion. Same price range though.

I don't know what you mean about not being able to sleep in the back of your 4runner. Ive spent over 40 nights in the back of mine with no complaints. Its actually very ideal. I use an inflatable hiking mattress and a sleeping bag and I'm good to go. 2 dogs and a mountain bike go inside with me.

Its as easy as locating your factory turn signal wires and tapping into them. Easiest place to find them is at your turn signals in the bumper if 03-05 or at the headlights in 06-09. Just find your ground wire and tap into them accordingly.

Thanks eviele I got the old school feel to it as well. Reminds me of the old Toyota trophy trucks with white rims and white letters out. Maybe I should throw on some brown and orange trd graphics across the hood! Haha
