The kit from rough country is 3" for 96-02 4runner. I did purchase the toytec drop kit and had it installed at the same time.

If I center the steering rack do you guys think this will fix my frame rubbing problem?

Rides great. Looks great! Simple. I'll try to get my pics up. I'm running 255/85/16. I'm not sure it would be the best for major wheeling but looks and light wheeling is what this kit is perfect for.

Gerdo. It is not a serious rub by any means but it is annoying. How do adjust the steering stops?thanks

Anyone else gave this issue? I do gave the factory wheels. What can I do to correct this issue?

I just installed 3 inch lift on 97 4runner limited and installed 255/85/16 Maxxis bighorns and I have great clearance but it rubs frame when I turn hard left but it does not rub when I turn hard right. Does anyone no why this is?????? Truck drives great on and off road and does not pull at all.

I think this is a pretty nice kit for the price. My mechanic had it installed in just a few hours. He said the old shocks were a pain to remove though. The ride with stock tires feels close to factory. I'm sure it'll ride like hell with the Bighorns!

I went ahead and bought it! Rough Country 3" lift installed and toytec diff drop kit. Looks great! Tires go on tomorrow! 255/85/16 Maxxis Bighorns!I will post pics tomorrow!
