I had some sliders made and welded on about 3 weeks ago. They were rattle can painted, and not sure if they were primed. I am already starting to see some surface rust around several of the welds. Could I just respray them with some rust stop paint?

I did. Got it all finished up a few weeks ago.

Ya there was some rubbing. Had to chop part of the bumper as well as install spacers. I just need to screw in the fender liner, and it should be perfect.

Just got my sway away coils installed, accompanied by some ko2s. Rides so much better that my old crazy duty coils. Before and after.

You can try a clay bar. I have used it with great success to remove overspray. I also have used lighter fluid or gasoline with the clay bar.

There is no need to remove the control arms to install shocks. You do have to disconnect the ball joint, but thats about its. Are they having trouble with the 3 top hat nuts? Those nuts should not have very much torque. With some pb blaster and time they should come off pretty easily. Anyone...

I have no way of measuring the free height or thickness unfortunately. These two pics are crappy, but all I have for the coils.
