OMG it was way too easy... Went over yesterday afternoon and found..... That the tubing from the AFM to the throttle body was not installed. Installed tubing, ran like a champ. D'oh! Apparently they are used to working on American cars without AFMs. Thanks for the replies! -----------Andymon

A buddy's 4Runner has had its engine replaced with another used engine. It starts, then dies after about 3 seconds, consistantly. According to my buddy, he has fuel pressure and spark. I'll be looking at it tomorrow, and was hoping I could be given some direction. Is this a common problem after...
