I've noticed in our 03 V8 4Runner that the steering has recently felt a bit loose. We noticed it especially on a gravel road while turning into rough parking spot in the woods. I turned into this sort of deep gulch as I pulled in to park - the gulch was just for a moment, then the road was fine...

25K seems high for that many miles - but my budget is low. In a quick search, it seems like you should be able to find something with much lower miles for that price. I'd keep looking around, personally.

We are looking to sell our 4Runner, haven't sold it yet, but having looked at other vehicles - and coming from the 2003 4Runner interior, I was very underwhelmed by Forester's styling and feel. Seemed weirdly cheap for a vehicle that definitely doesn't come cheap. It had us coming back to Toyota...

Craigslist is definitely a mixed bag. It's great when you finally get a normal, nice person. Renews my faith in the site when that happens. No matter what I'm selling on CL, it's usually 3 weird inquiries to every 1 normal one.
