How can I tell? It slipped in and only had two screws to secure it. Thanks for the reply. BTW, it's a '92 Runner I just bought and when I had it looked at the mechanics said it looked like the wires were original. Two plugs were pretty fouled, the other four were nasty.

So they wanted $550 for a tuneup...running rough, and thought that was a good place to start. $180 for parts...an hour or so for me to plug the stuff in. New plugs, wires, rotor, cap, air filter. Now it starts, then dies. Starts and runs if you press on the gas pedal and keep it flowing...
