Hey CRYA, thanks for the quick response. If you ever mount it on your 4Runner please post the results. The roof rails on these only extend to the middle of the roof, so I wanted to make sure there was enough play to slide it forward enough. Thanks again.

Had a look a the "Roof Racks and Hitch Setups" thread and saw one forum member had a Thule 1600 mounted with no problem. I was wondering if anyone has a Thule Atlantis 1800 cargo carrier and if there's no problem opening the rear hatch? Thanks!

I just purchased a new 2011 4Runner and going over the fees I see a charge of $299 for secure etching. I thought this option was supposed to etch your VIN number into the glass. When I look at my windows, in the lower right corners I see the text "Toyota" , "AGC Automotive", and some numbers...
