I put the tray just in front of the antenna with the bars towards the front. There is no interference with the sun roof.

On the 16, you can turn that indicator off. That was one of my first "mods."

I just installed a Baja Racks ladder with no issues. It's a tight fit but it works.

outdated gripes I have a 2016 Ltd. It has memory seats. All saved radio stations are listed in one big list. Voice control works pretty well. And phone volume adjustment is pain free. With AWD and a roof rack, I still avg over 17 mpg. After owning a 16 Tacoma, I do dislike the center screen...

Baja Racks Ladders I ordered a ladder a few weeks ago. They were quick to accept payment but it took several weeks and several emails to get a ship date that is for later this month. Hopefully, that date proves accurate.

I was stupid and in a hurry at first. And put a few scratches on the T4R before I slowed down and properly placed some card board. This was on a solo install. Strategically place cardboard and it should be done without scratches.

I would go over every nut and bolt on there. It's pretty solid if everything is tightened up properly. I haven't heard anything except a little whistling if the sun roof is open. I'm thinking of plugging the holes in the light mounts for now to see if that takes care of that very minor annoyance.

Ok. I managed to get this completed yesterday. Over all, and from a distance, it flows well with the truck. But both side rails have horribly uneven cuts along the lower edge. And my attachment L pieces needed some TLC from a hammer and my vice to achieve the proper angle. If I'd seen this kind...

I considered the sunroof trick. As you noticed, the hard part is holding that wrench while you tighten down on it. Hopefully, tomorrow, it'll be a wrap. Well besides the touch-up paint that I need now...:mad2:

Man, do I.... Feel mechanically inept! LOL... I got the rack 75% installed. That front brace kicked my a$$. What's the trick? Once I finally got rolling, I thought I had it whooped when somehow in the excitement of the day, I managed to lose 2 bolts!!! So, all that I have to do tomorrow is...

Ok, thanks for the tips. I have it laid out now. Should get it installed tomorrow. Going fishing today! I like the way it looks, but the finish on some spots is kind of rough. Not all of the slots are even and a couple of the holes on the L braces extend into the bend. I think it will look nice...

Instructions? I finally unwrapped everything today. It looks great with a few rough cuts. But I don't see any instructions. The only paperwork I found was from the Venezuelan engineer that put together the customs package. Rorck, do you have something that you could email to me?
