When I lifted my 3rd gen, I proactively rebooted my gem axles with OEM Toyota reboot kit since everyone starts tearing after a lift. its been 4k miles so far with no issues. I believe Toyota rubber is just better quality.

I second that. I have a little rot on both sides on the inside of the rear lower control arms but Im getting that addressed with Autorust technicians here in Rhode Island. They also manufacture replacement T caps that are vehicle specific
