Tie rod end and cv boot replacement on 2nd gen

I have a 92 sr5 3.0 4wd, I need to replace the rh outer tie-rod end and cv boots. My question is how difficult is it to replace the parts? Is it simple enough that I could do myself or should I fork over a couple hundred bucks to have someone else do it?

    Moog springs?

Thanks! One more question...should I replace the shocks as well? Or am I ok with the stocks til I go for a full lift?

    Moog springs?

I searched online for the OME springs you recommended but I couldn't find just the springs...only the entire kit which I don't want to spend the $ on just yet. Any idea where I can find them?

    Moog springs?

I need some feedback on these Moog springs. I found them at oreilly and I beleive they are a med duty spring, I want something stiffer than stock but not so stiff that I sacrifice ride quality, will these accomplish this? Also, will I be able to pull a trailer or a small boat with these? Here...

    Downey Springs?

I have seen several threads that say Downey springs will correct the rear end sag on a 2nd gen t4r...sounds good to me! The problem is I can't figure out where to buy them?!?!? Does anyone know where I can get them?

New owner...what problems do I look for???

That's crazy that you say that...I just found out the owner of Krawltex is a really good friend-of-a-friend! I plan on going over there in the next week or two and talking to them about a lift :)

New owner...what problems do I look for???

I noticed that too...oh well. Does anyone know of a somewhat easy fix for the rear end sag? I talked to 4wheel parts and they suggested a coil spacer in the rear. Is this the best option or are there better/alternative fixes? As far as the lift I think I'm going to just take KidVermicious'...

New owner...what problems do I look for???

I fully understand the difference between body and suspension lifts...I had a jeep in the past that I lifted myself, my question is more along the lines of how difficult is it on a TR4. I have been around jeeps my whole life so it wasn't too difficult to figure it out...but this is my first...

New owner...what problems do I look for???

I would prefer a suspension lift. I eventually plan to use the ground clearance so I don't know that a body lift would do much for me. But at the same time it depends on the difficulty between the two, for now I just want to add a little clearance for tires.

New owner...what problems do I look for???

ok easy enough :) My next question is how difficult is it to install a 2" lift for a first-timer? I have all the tools...just need some advice as to what type of lift and if this is something I can do or should I fork over the $ and have someone else do it?

New owner...what problems do I look for???

Hi! I just bought a 1992 sr5 V6 4X4. This is my first TR4 and I am wondering if there is anything I should look for immediately that could cause a major headache later. 'Blue' seems to run great, the only issue I have encountered so far is that it seems to be slowly leaking power steering...
