1st, did you do the math to calculate mpg or are you trusting the dash readout?

and if it can't be repaired properly because of the bad repair job, it should be replaced - with no extra cost to you (I.e. no deductable)

I prefer a silicone grease like dielectric grease as it doesnt dry out as quick as lithium, which seems to become abrasive when dry.

Does your 32k, 48k, 64k, etc. maintenance service also include oil change? There is a footnote on my 2012 manual for the 16koil change, but the next page indicates the maint. serv. also has oil change.

nope. stock te yet, but I commute to hfx weekdays. there is another ('10 or '11) te in bridgewater with a basket.

my manual indicates oil change at 8k km, 24k, 40k, etc. AND a service which INCLUDES an oil change at 16k km, 32k, 48k, etc. So oil is indeed every 8k.
