    Towing a Travel Trailer/Camper

Anyone here tow a travel trailer/camper with their 4R? The 2002 Manual says not to exceed a gross towing weight of 5,000 pounds, i.e., trailer and stuff..... Any specific issues/problems come up? Pictures?!

    BIZARRE...Auto Transmission NOT WORKING

This is SO bizarre for my 2002: I go do some errands. Come home and I decide to wash the T4R. When I'm finished and go to move it into the driveway and the automatic transmission won't engage: not reverse, not drive. NOTHING! The only way I could get the vehicle to move is when I engage the...

99 Highlander Coils - Worth it?

I measured the height from hub center to bottom of fender on my stock 2002. Front: 20 inches Rear: 19 inches Looks like some rear sag going on. I probably will go with the 99 talls in front and the OME 906 coils in the rear with Bilstein HD shock all around. As far as tires, I prefer to...

    '99 Highlander Coils...I know...

I have only had my '02 for about a year, and I haven't done anything to it; its all stock. I guess I should have a mechanic look at all the suspension and steering parts to see if anything needs replacing. If anything does I will do it with the istall of the coil springs and new shocks.

    '99 Highlander Coils...I know...

...there is alot of info posted here about them...but I would like to hear from anyone who has installed these springs about what other suspension parts you had to replace in order to put these on. When I spoke to a parts guy at Tustin Toyota here in SoCal he said he would also replace the...
