No, it is not the AWD version. I got a great deal at JM Lexus in S. Florida. 40K + tax. It drives real nice but I still like the 4Runner better. The Lexus was really more for the wife.

Just picked up a Lexus GS300 to keep my 2005 SE company.

I did not notice a difference from the stock to K&N but what concerned me about the K&N was the fact that my pre-filter was getting some dust in and around it which tells me that the K&N was not doing it's job. Get the TrueFlow.

I just replaced my K&N with a Trueflow in my 2005 4.7. My concern was that the K&N was letting to much dirt into the engine. Since I just installed it this morning, I can't accurately comment on performance. I can say that the Trueflow fit like a glove in the airbox. There was some other folks...

I see you live in Pa so your filter may not get as dirty as mine. Also, in Florida where I live, we have those pesky rodents and reptiles that seem to make their way in everywhere.

Replaced my cabin filter on my 2005 w/ 17K miles. The original that I took out was disgusting! See the attached pic. If you look close, there is a small dropping from either a mouse or lizard.

Replaced Densos with NGK IX Iridiums Had 8 Denso Iridiums in my 2005 4.7 and not a mix. Replaced w/ NGK IX Iridiums. Although I only have 17K on the vehicle I decided to replace with the NGKs. I have attached a pic of one of the Densos that came out.

NGK IX iridium install question Ordered NGK IX iridiums for my 2005 4.7 and would like to know if others that replaced their plugs used a torque wrench. If so, what type? The one I have is the dial type and I can't see using that in a such tight space. Thanks!
