Consider Eibach for your shocks. Made in the USA and a GREAT company to deal with.

I used the second from the bottom because I will be adding a steel front bumper and winch soon. With the added weight of the V8, I was concerned about the front end being too low. It is level now, so I expect it to drop a bit after the bumper and winch install.

I called Eibach and they said it should be level on the second clip. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Eibach!

It is the full kit...4 springs and 4 shocks. Eibach says 1.8" lift with the V8 4Runner, so I used the second clip from the bottom. I didn't bother with before measurements because the XREAS system had leaked dry. Tires are stock size 265/65-17 Coopers.

I did do the full kit. Only drove it a short distance because the alignment was WAY off due to replacing LCA. It is at the shop getting aligned right now. Removed XREAS that had completely failed. I will update my post when I get her back.
