I have come to live with my issue for the past month or so. I'm still having problems with my antenna motor as described in the first post. Thank goodness that it did not blow anything but a fuse. Every time I switch from CD to radio, it blows out the fuse. Seems like I need a new antenna...

Personally, I'd prefer just to have a diversity antenna like most other cars. I'm not sure what happened here, but I'm hoping that by me trying to fix the motor, I didn't burn out my stereo. I hope it's just a fuse.

Oh yea...here's one of Street Atlas 2005. It automatically defaults to DC for a couple of seconds until the unit picks up a couple of satellites.
