I do not have a CEL light. I unplugged the TPS to see what would happen when I step on the brake, which usually causes the idle to drop from 1850 or so down to 700 and bounce to 1100 over and over. With the TPS unplugged, I have the same high idle but no drop in RPM when step on the brake...
I fail to see the value in buying a junkyard TB not knowing if it is good or not. I also have not found any replacement TB's that arent performance oriented. Is there a good place to buy a replacement with stock settings for a decent price? If a bored unit is $225, I'd think a stock...
Its been cleaned and its been seafoamed. My throttle plate does not seal against the cylinder. There is a gap on one side that I can manipulate by pulling/pushing on the shaft so I figure something is worn out. Is there supposed to be a gap?
I also plan on running 33/12.50/15 Goodyear Duratracs. I already have aftermarket wheels. I wont buy them until I see how my 31's look with the lift though. Aussie rear locker and manual hubs will be ordered today.
I called and talked to the sales rep. He said the ride would be "harsh" if I went with 901's and didnt carry any load. I dont tow with the runner so no need for the HD springs, I went with the MD. I also noticed that the 900's are sold as 1.5" springs not 2". I hope I dont regret their ride...
Im going to bite the bullet and order the OME lift. My question now is do I need 900 or 901 rear springs. The 901's say level with 330 lbs in the back, Id only have that much when wheeling. Any ideas? Are the 900's sufficient?
