Finally had time to get out and get it cleaned up. I took some pics beside my paw paw 06 limited.( 3” lift on the way). But it’s not letting me upload them
Thank you for getting back to me and helping me get this fixed. Man I was stressing out on why it was like this. Got the bottom spring hat flipped like it’s supposed to be and now it is sitting level. And it rides awesome. Way better than the factory struts with 200k on them. Thanks again!
Yea I knew something wasn’t right. Yea I haven’t driven it since right after install. I knew it couldn’t be right so I didn’t drive it. Yea I didn’t think I should have gotten that much lift out of it. Thank you so much for your help. With the fj springs at the .85” setting should level it out...
My wife has a 05 sr5 4runner. The front stunts were worn out so I decided to replace them. They were the factory struts with fj coils with a Daystar budget boost spacer. The front fenders measured 38” from the ground. I purchased the 5100s and new kyb top mounts and reused the fj coils. I put...
Are you running wheel spacers? If not are you rubbing on your ucas?
I’m looking at buying this same exact wheel and tire set up for my wife’s 4runner. She has the ‘16 sr5 wheels and 265/70/17 terra grappler g2s, and they look way to small but I didn’t want to have to add spidertraxx.
Well you will be in the same boat with me and need to get the factory radio brackets. Honestly it’s probably not a big deal, and you will have to press in hard to make it fall behind the bezel but I just don’t like it being loose like that. I’m ocd about things like that so I’ll spend the money...
Yea mine had a single din originally. Ah so people are using the factory brackets. I don’t have the factory unit so I wasn’t sure about using them. Where did you get the brackets from if you don’t mind me asking?
I have a 2005 4runner sr5. I added a pioneer double din. No jbl/rds. I hate the small trim pieces that go on each side. It is not a tight fit. And if you press to hard on the screen it’s like it will fall behind the bezel. My question is, what are people using to prevent this? Are there some...
It has the 2.5/1.5 Daystar lift on it. I am about to remove it because it rides terribly rough. I’m going to put the Daystar 1” level spacer.
It’s 2wd so no front axles. I’ll check the drive shaft.
