    V8 Transmission Problems – CEL P0776

What year was the minivan? Was it an electronically-controlled transmission? I didn't even change the fluid, I just took it apart, checked some things, and put it back together...so I hope I just had a stuck solenoid.

    V8 Transmission Problems – CEL P0776

Resolution Just in case this helps someone in the future, I thought I'd let you guys know how it turned out. This weekend I drained the fluid, dropped the pan, pulled off the transmission filter, and removed the SL2 and SLT solenoids, which were believed to be the problem. I put 12v to each...

    V8 Transmission Problems – CEL P0776

Hey guys – Yesterday my 4R would rev like it is in neutral when it tried to shift to OD, and today it won’t even shift from 3 to 4, although 1-2-3 is just fine. It also will not engine brake and just started throwing CEL code P0776 “Pressure Control Solenoid B Performance or Stuck Off.” The...

    Stealth LED light bar install

Guys, I know it's been ages, but I had a whirlwind of a summer/fall. I finally got around to taking some output pictures on my drive home last weekend, so here you go: Low Beams Low Beams + 40" LED Light Bar OP will deliver! I'll edit the first post as well. Happy holidays all!

I just close the sunroof shade. Do you really need your sunroof open at night? It's not that bad even with it open, it'll light up the inside of your car though.

It does a great job of lighting up everything from about 10' in front of your car onward. The fog lights fill in the rest. In my last photo, the flood part of the combo is really diluted by the intensity of the spot portion, but I promise that it does a good job all around. I'll get some pics...

    BannerBuilt's Build Thread

I actually haven't gotten around to putting the spacers on...but from the research I did, they are no different than the Cornfed spacer...other than the fact that they are a 1/2" less lift, which is what I wanted. It's just an aluminum spacer, and the Supreme kit comes with excellent...

    Stealth LED light bar install

Whoops, my mistake. I picked that up somewhere, maybe I got crossed up with different brands. I will edit the previous comment. I'll try this weekend, but no guarantees...I'm usually out at the bars before dark, which makes it tough to get any pictures of the 4R at night :)

    BannerBuilt's Build Thread

I walked into Car Toys today to poke around and check out some gear I had been looking at online. I told the salesman that if he could match the prices of the subs and amp I'd been looking at on Amazon, that I'd walk out with them right there. He was happy to oblige. So now that I'm a proud...

No glare on the hood, because the the angle of the roof does not allow the beam to even shine on the hood. Make sure you keep your sunroof shade closed though ;) You are totally right, I just have not had a chance to adjust it to the proper height yet. The fact that it is twice as high as the...

    Stealth LED light bar install

I agree. If you check out the specs on the Hanma/Totron bars, you'll see that the single row bars use 24 5W CREE bulbs (120W total), while the double row bars use 48 3W CREE bulbs (144W total). In reality, you are only giving up 24 total watts, or 1W per bulb, by going with the single row bar...

Depending on exactly how wide the double row bar was...I wonder if you could just screw the mounting feet down to the plastic end caps on the rails. I seem to remember them having a nice flat surface to mount to, although the end caps might crack or otherwise fail with a 15 lb light bar mounted...

    Stealth LED light bar install

Just looked the Hanma bar up on their website. It's totally the same bar (Link to Totron)...I can tell based off of the end caps, lenses, and mounting hardware. I don't even know who to believe anymore, with all of these companies claiming to be the manufacturer. Make sure to get the optional...

I'll get a tape on it after work. I think I had just under an inch of room on either side of the bar. Do the Hanmas mount from the back (like this one), or from the ends?

I haven't had a good chance to rally it down a logging road to find out, but it's about as rigid as the supplied Totron mounting hardware allows it to be. I wouldn't go so far as to stand on it, but it definitely won't flop around like one of those flailing tube men at a used car lot. With 1/8"...
