Just tow in 4th gear. You'll be fine. I have a similar size boat and an '07 V8. I'd hook it up and drive across the country tomorrow without worrying about it. Your biggest concern should be the trailer brakes.

'07 V8 SR5 100,500 miles, about 20K of that pulling the boat. Owned since new.

Clicked over 90K miles recently, did the timing belt, and front calipers last week. Today was the drivers side front wheel bearing.

Mobil 1 5W30 w/ OEM filter every 5K

I had the one rear swipe a couple of times in the last few weeks. This morning was a pretty sluggish start, so I went and got a new battery before its too late. I think I got my moneys worth on the original '07 battery.

I got the 3 lights about a week ago. Did BlackWorks' gas cap tension check, and sure enough, it felt slack. Got a new OEM one to replace it, and about 3 starts later, the lights went away.
