drilled and tapped an exhaust hole in the head and tried both sensors in it and the light still quickly came on. put one sensor in the head and connected the other sensor also and laid in on the intake so i had 2 sensors hoping to increase signal and the light still quickly came on. .

Thanks very much for the reply . I added the green wire after my first test failed to insure it was grounded . The white wire goes to the new 12 inch long $20.00 factory Toyota pig tail which plugs into the original harness. I have not tried to do the complete harness bypass with shielded/coax...

WAS THE TOW HITCH FACTORY OR AN OPTION? I have a 1990 4runner 3.0 v6 manual trans sr5 and it has a tow hitch . Were these an option or did all of these model come with them? If they are factory, did the option include a bigger radiator? What is the towing capacity? Thanks for any info.

I have a 51 engine code and my rpm goes down instead of up when I turn the ac on . Is there a solenoid that operates this? If so where is it? If not how do I did it? Thanks

I patched it today so I will pull the plug tomorrow but since all the oil already came out the hole, I doubt I will see anything unusual.

Yeah, the tranny works perfectly which is why I think it's possible that someone might have put it in there thru the oil fill hole to slow the leak down.

i bought the truck then crawled under it to check the trans fluid and say a wet spot and big blob of jb weld so i removed the jb weld and that is what was under it.
