Engine code ac high idle mode

I have a 51 engine code and my rpm goes down instead of up when I turn the ac on . Is there a solenoid that operates this?

If so where is it?

If not how do I did it?

passenger side, the first vacuum switch in the bank of switches closest to the front of the truck. It will have 2 vacuum hoses to the plenum and one small dia. hose which is tee'd from another VS it has an adjustment screw.
