Really good friend... A really good friend bought a (2000) Land Cruiser. Sold me his 99 limited w/rear locker for $2k (230k mi). I fished with him for years and spent many hours riding/driving that truck. Coming up on 3 years and I've probably put $4k into it. Runs great. Very grateful.

Considering the cost of undoing the Pink Milkshake and other ailments caused by an overheated tranny, does the actual cost of the part make that much of a difference? How much did that spare BFG tire cost... I wouldn't buy a used part that is so integral to the function of my engine.

Lay flat awning? Not quite sure why you might choose to do that, but I can say that having it at the current angle has not effected my gas mileage at all and I can take it to a car wash and it continues to survive.

Injectors... My mechanic insisted it was everything but the injectors, he was wrong. If you replace the plugs and wires, it can't really be anything else especially when the code keeps coming up.

And there are some really good switches with fun labels for your dash. Thinking of expanding my accessories switches.

Gps? Can you use a GPS to see how fast across the face of the Earth you are going and adjust the Speedo to match? Or does this method "do the math" for you?
