    New Bronco on the Rubicon

I definitely wouldn't consider the 4cyl but I've done a ton of research on the 2.7 Ecoboost and it's been damn reliable. The gen 2 for 17 added the secondary injectors to keep the valves clean along with the direct injection. It's very overbilt compared to the 3.5L. Shares the same block...

    New Bronco on the Rubicon

I wouldn't say I'm bored with my 4runner but it will be nice to have something totally new and exciting. You know things like actual new Tech, factory 35s, 400ftlbs torque, open roof, front lockers and adding a factory 2" lift gets you 37s. We'll still one Pro in the garage so I'm not totally...

    Crossbar ?

Couple of thoughts I might add. Keep in mind depending on what brand kayak you are getting, fishing kayaks are considerably heavier then the sit in types. I have a Hobie Outback myself and there is no way I would want to deal with loading that thing on the roof. About to get another Hobie Pro...

Another Pro Lifted with 6112s (pics and measurements) UPDATE: Added 285s

Glad it worked out for you. I have some SPCs that I need to put on a well, just haven't had time. What setting did you use for caster on the arms themselves? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Trd pro lift question

That's interesting. They are definitely a different part number from my 4runner ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Trd pro lift question

Yeah you are way over doing it. No wonder the ride is so harsh. If you are going to run the 14" 600# springs then you need to get rid of all of the spacers, the bottom and the top. You need to run the stock top hat and lower perches. You probably have little to no down travel. I run those same...

Wrangler Duratrac vs. AT Revo 3

13K miles on my Duratracs now and still loving them. Spent 4 days offroading them at the FJ Summit and couldn't be happier. Still quieter then my Nittos. Will post tread wear in a few days when I get home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Sitting in the 4runner on the beach, enjoying a delicious breakfast taco, and watching it rain over the Gulf of Mexico. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Towed Heavy and Was Surprised!!

Not sure on that as I didn't consult the manual. Oops!

    Towed Heavy and Was Surprised!!

Yep I'd say you were. People that complain that these 5th Gens are underpowered don't really know what underpowered means. LOL Yeah it's no rocket ship but it's got plenty of balls when you need it. Also drive them with a little common since and they get pretty damn decent fuel mileage.

    Towed Heavy and Was Surprised!!

I'll keep that in mind. I don't see the storm being much more then a rain maker. They have always allowed other Toyota models but for obvious reasons it's less and less FJs each year. I hear some of the original FJ guys have a bit of an issue with it but most of the other people are great. We...
