uhh...your right, i have a chain, does it mean it can go longer without changing...i still heard 6 years/90k miles.

Never had to add coolant, never saw any liquid under the truck so it did take me a bit by surprise hearing that it was time to replace.

So i have a 2006 4runner with 44k miles, took it into the dealer for 45k service, they said that my water pump is leaking so i should change it, along with the drive belt. I have a couple of concerns....does leaking mean its going to fail soon and if it does fail...what the worst that could...

Thanks for the input guys, one last thing to add, which seems odd to me is that the vibration in the steering wheel is way more pronounced when going downhill at higher speeds...in fact on flat or going uphill...im not sure i notice it vibrating at all...

i dont really feel it in the brake pedal, only in the steering wheel...

So i was wondering if any of you had this issue, whenever, i brake, my steering wheel shakes and vibrates. If i brake hard, not so much and when going slow not so much, its more when going at highway speeds and then gradually using the brakes to slow is when i feel the vibration? Is it time...

seems like you already got your answer, but i have and bought an 06 SE in 06 and they did come with standard tubes step and roof, i know i have seen 4r without racks and rear spoiler...looks odd, but never at SE, im sure its possible though.

I was in Hawaii recently and used to live there, i found it very interesting how many suv's, well mostly toyo's and honda's did not have racks installed. Here in the 48, it is more rare to not see a suv with the factory installed racks...i wonder why that is, there is a need for them with...
