Side Window Sun Shades

Hi all, wondering what brand, if any, that people use for a sun shade for the rear door window. I am using it to shield my baby daughter, but want to find one that semi-transparent to allow my daughter to look at as we go.

Thanks

We've used the suction cup type retractable shades from "First years" and they seem to work ok. I'd like to get darker tint ultimately though for the back but not for a while. You can also get some static tints that are just a vinyl sheet you simply press on when you need them to shade the kiddos too. This way nothing is permanent and can be taken down at a moment's notice if need be.

I used a thin plastic film made by Eddie Bauer and purchased from Target. The film does distort your view when looking outside but figure not an issue with my 17 month old son since he doesn't know what he's looking at anyhow. By the time he knows what he's looking at, we won't need the film anymore. Very inexpensive, say $4 per window, and no fear of a potential projectile should you be in an accident.

Add the Weather-Tech Vent Guards - they let you crack the window even when it rains and also shade the rear seat. The dark ones match the window tint on the '03 up 4runners.
