10.9 inches ground clearance? If true, this would be an inch more than the 4Runner and 2 inches more than the LC250. Makes me hope the claimed 8 something inches for the LC250 are not true in the end and it gets more ground clearance.
409hp and 479lb-ft are not the GX numbers. Thos are the numbers of the current LX600. I think you misread Carmaker1's post as he was clearly naming those numbers as the LX600 ones.
You will have to wait till end of 2024 or early 2025 to buy a 6th generation 4Runner. It has not been released yet and there aren't even any spy photos. As it looks now 6th Gen will be revealed some time in 2024 as a 2025 model.
I spend a lot of time on trails in remote areas in northern Maine, some of them require to crawl in 4LOW - I honestly never thought I could do this in an Explorer or BMW X5 instead of my 4Runner.
As the previous poster said - those vehicles have a different purpose and Toyota already makes...
