I ended up putting 20% on my front windows and putting 35% on the back windows. With just 20% on the front, the front windows looked a little darker than the back windows. With the extra layer of 35% on the back it made the back windows slightly darker.

you need to get a PAC-SWI-JACK to make use of your steering wheel controls. I wasn't able to program the source button to do anything. another quirk is that while using XM I can't use prev/next to change the channel. volume up/down works, but the only way to change the channel while listening...

did you have the stock 10-speaker JBL option? I think the dash opening is different with this option.

Here's some low quality pics of this kit installed with a DNX8120 in a 2008 with JBL. It fits pretty well and looks great.

Here's some pics from a DNX8120 install. Purchased from an authorized reseller. Overall its a pretty good unit. I use the USB input much more than the iPod. It's much easier to have a dedicated 16gb USB drive that I update as needed.

My kit does not fit either. The factory bulb clicks in and out just fine, but this one doesn't fit. It seems that the plastic fins are too big for the slots. H11 in a 2008.

Scosche has finished development on this new dash kit. They don't have any more in stock at the moment however. I went ahead and ordered one away over the phone. The Metra kit I'm using now needs to go. 800-363-4490 ext 1
