Yeah its the pump nothing else in the area of the tank that makes a motor whine? Have to say today it didn't do it on a quick 5 minute drive this morning, will check again tonight after a longer drive.

Quick questions, is it normal for the fuel pump to carry on running for a few minutes after you turn the engine off? Thanks

Re: Re: sweet ride you hit the nail on its head its tinted plexiglass and the high level brake light just shines through it, its the same plexiglass as the front bug deflector other than that don't know to much about it as it came with the truck. I can take a look see for a manufactures logo...

Plan to use it for back country travel so new springs/shocks, new front bumper/winch, snorkel and sleeping platform from there we will have to wait and see.

Just wanted to say hi got my 1st 4runner just over a month or so ago, found the forum really helpful before and since the purchase. Its a 1999 SR5 V6 Auto 4x4 with 139,000k(86,000 miles) Really enjoying it so far :D
