Mine squeaks too when it gets cold enough... Not a huge deal but really really annoying.

I vote for the 285 Revo 2's. Love mine on my trail! Need minor adjustments to fit but they fit! Substantial improvement in ride and look in my opinion.

That was the same conclusion I came to as we... For me, I was planning on keeping the truck for a while 6+ years and could afford either a new or a used 4runner. The 2011 Trail Edition I ended up with seemed like a far better deal. Brand new, full warranty, recently updated = no brainer...

Unfortunately it is not an easy question to answer. KDSS only comes as an option on the Trail Edition. Do you like the looks and the additional offroad capability of the trail edition? If you are leaning towards the trail edition anyway you might as well get the KDSS option. Great for onroad...

I use the automatic car wash to combat the buildup of salt during winter and maintain a "clean looking" car in the nicer months of the year. It will never be able to get the car as clean as you could the old fashioned way.

I came to the same conclusion when looking at used 4runners. The tradeoff for price of the used was just not worth it for me. I ended up with a brand new 2011 trail edition. Not that much more then a 2-3 year old used runner and it is a fresh restyle that I really liked.

Welcome and good choice! I have the exact same configuration :-) Love it so far. Yes where do you go offroad in WI? As far as tires i swapped mine out in the first week with REVO 2's. They have been wonderful and feel much better then stock.

I am running 285's on stock suspension and wheels. Played with inner fender liners a little bit to get just a bit more clearance but I have absolutly no rubbing. I will admit I have not done too much "extreme" articulation but I have gone offroad a bit and have not noticed any rubbing there...

Oh man... Do a quick search and you will find plenty of info about what people are replacing their wimpy horn with.
