Opinions on service items at ~35K miles

I need some help here. I have a 2020 TRD ORP, ~35K miles, so it's about 5 years old. I do an occasional off-roading and no towing. Several posts on this forum show conflicting information regarding some service items, and I've talked to 4 shops (including a dealer) and even they do not agree...

Rock sliders that "could" work as a step too

how do you like these SLee "slider steps"? Any issues with mounting? There is a YouTube vide on the Victory Blitz that looks pretty scary: Big Issues: Victory 4x4 Blitz Rock-Sliders|GX 460 & 4Runner - YouTube

Rock sliders that "could" work as a step too

Those 2 last options are pretty expensive. Most sliders I'm considering are ~$1K

How many hours of labor to install rock sliders?

Yes, you are right. I have a general shop and I'll probably use them. I am more or less deciding in favor of the RSG sliders; they check all my boxes....

How many hours of labor to install rock sliders?

Yes, I did see that, and that shipping cost is super high. I'll try and price other brands too. Thanks for the tip.

How many hours of labor to install rock sliders?

I'm looking at Parkrax. I want sliders that go down a bit so they are better as a step, and sliders with some surface on them (not just tubes). The ones from Pakrax check the boxes and are $875 (but I'd be happy to consider others). Some of the other options were >$1000.

How many hours of labor to install rock sliders?

Thanks but I'd rather have a shop do this.

How many hours of labor to install rock sliders?

I have a quote from a 4x4 shop in town to install rock sliders on my 4runner 2020 (kdss). They quote me 5 hours of labor which seems on the high side to me. These rock sliders don't require drilling of any new holes (that's what the manufacturer claims). I called the shop several times and they...

Rock sliders that "could" work as a step too

It's time to add sliders to my lifted 5th Gen 4runner (w/KDSS). I do the occasional off-road trip and I've had a couple of close calls with rocks on the side. Thing is that I really want this to work as a step too, especially when I take guests in the truck (I get lots of complains that it's...

Really bad experience with Alpha Foxtrot Design (Molle panel)

Yes, that cargo hook. Looking at youtube videos, I saw that other brands only required to remove the screw and the riser cylinder would mount on top of that. This Alpha-panel required to remove that hook, which often breaks because it has those tabs that snap when you press in.

Really bad experience with Alpha Foxtrot Design (Molle panel)

I never new that this wasn't one of those....there were plenty of posts related to prior purchases

Really bad experience with Alpha Foxtrot Design (Molle panel)

I bought a Molle panel from this company a couple of months ago (T4R INTERIOR STORAGE - DRIVERS SIDE – Alpha foxtrot designs). On paper, it looked great, and the price was right too. The panel came without instructions and its mounting was different than the other designs (for which there are...

AT Tire size for OFRP lifted 2": 90/10 on/off road use

Finally got my 2" lift done on my 2020 OFRP (Bilstein shocks). So next is to replace the stock tires for an AT type. I need help.... I think I'm down to 2 sizes (read below) my constrains: -no BMC -I'd say that my off-road use is 10% so I don't want to sacrifice road performance to much...
