It was NOT the BFG AT's that I would want. The one at the Beaverton dealer that we didn't drive had Bridgestones and the one I drove had Dunlop. Both were "all weather" treads, and not "all terain"... --Bill

But, of course! I went on a test drive in one today! Thing handles great. It was an auto, and not the manual that I want, but it was very smooth. Also MUCH quieter than my Subaru Outback in the cabin. That really surprised me. The demo rig was in Sun Fusion yellow. I liked it! I saw another...

I guess we are getting off the FJ topic....but: I assume the new Bronco will have at least some form of AWD. I see this as squaring up against the Element. If they can give it some ground clearance and a usable interior, I think it can sell... --Bill
