Here it is. Not sure if I'm missing any parts or if this is installed wrong? I don't want reinstall my carpet until I fix this.

I just bought this truck and it is leaking through the firewall at the plug that the hood release cable passes through. Attached are a couple of pictures of it. Am I missing something, or should I just caulk around it? I know it seems like no big deal but my carpet was nasty from this small leak.

I know, a lot of pictures but they don't really do it justice. I regreased all of the seat metal parts. And my power washer is pretty weak so I would be careful if you have a really strong power washer
