Starts than dies Oh K. I got 4runner to run' drove it 60 miles' it ran funky but Alrite ... Got to my house and was out of gas... Put 3 gallons of gas in but won't start. So I adjusted timing and got it to start but it shuts off after 3 seconds ... Fuel pump? Fuel filter or distributor issue?

I will try tdc again on cyl 1. It seems as if the timing is 180 out. Does starting fluid in throttle body burn if I spray in it to see if it fires?

Hey guys just joined up as I'm having issues with my 1989 4runner. 22re fuel injected motor. I have great compression on all 4 as its a rebuilt motor' I'm getting spark on all 4 as we stabbed distributor on tdc on cyl 1. We have fuel at manifold but not sure if injectors are on..
