yeah especially when it's been sitting in the garage. The outside is clean and some of the underside is clean but I still need to get in some crappy clothes and just go lay under it with a power washer for 20 minutes.
So I went to Manhattan KS this weekend and the wife and I ended the weekend with a trip to tuttle creek off road park on Sunday. I had a lot of fun and my wife even did some driving in the mud. I have come to this conclusion though... Until I can afford a purpose built offroad vehicle...
I'm glad. I always try to come back to threads like this when I have a problem and then find the answer on my own. To many people make threads all over d webz and then don't ever post a resolution.
Update here. Toyota is replacing my driveshaft tomorrow with the lexus driveshaft under warranty. It took alot of calls, emails, and badgering but hopefully this will fix my problem.
here is the email I just got from the dealership. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Mr. Webb,
We have contacted Toyota about your problem and have come to the determination that the “thump” you are feeling is normal operation for that vehicle. The torque of that vehicle gets transferred out...
just to update the dealear replaced the seat frame and the problem went away.... for 3 days. Now its slowly coming back. I don't think this is something I'm willing to live with in a 30,000 dollar truck. Any advice?
