One of my steering racks leaked in the same spot. I had another steering rack laying around that had a leaky ram, but the input side was fine. I was able to swap the good input on to my old rack. Took a bit of work, but saved me a bunch of money. I didn't have much luck with aftermarket racks...

Wrecker plus a locksmith to re-key/wafer it is probably your most cost effective option.

I normally air down to 5ish on stock wheels. Haven't lost a bead yet (but won't be surprised when I do). I've burped a bead a couple times at speed (driving way too fast for that pressure) but nothing major.

As others have said it sounds like your clutch hydraulics need to be re-bled. My clutch pedal almost identical in +30 to -30. Not sure where you're at in Alberta, but I understand the issues that come with the cold (this coming from Calgary which has been ~ -30c every night for the past 3 weeks...

I haven't seen or heard of a LCA failing. The worst I've seen is Assburns LCAs starting to stress crack where the forged lower section is riveted into the stamped mild steel wishbone. For a total failure I would imagine the lower forged section could crack and sheer entirely, but probably at...

Replaced lower balljoints, front driver axle seal and drained the ATF out of both boots on my steering rack. It never ends...

I would agree on the uniball part. I've been running some EMF "aftermarket" uniballs for 5 years now. Daily driven in Alberta where we see salt, sand, and grit for 7 months of the year. Before these I was going through a set of uniballs once a year. Stainless double teflon, blah blah the FK...

Not sure how "rough" your actuator sounds, but mine has always sounded a little "strained" as the motor winds the spring inside (assuming the diff isn't aligned and the shift fork in the diff doesn't immediately slide to lock/unlock). There should be a light film of grease on the spring itself...

Synthetic line for me. I hate dragging a cable up steep icy hills in winter. I put a thimble on my old steel line and throw it in the truck for most winter runs. Having an extension is really nice for times you need it. A synthetic extension would be awesome but for now I'm too cheap to buy one...

Need to start building a new sleeping/storage platform. Last one I built only got %50 finished and I scrapped it years ago. Some good ideas in here to steal. I do own a fridge and am more than happy that I bought one. They are expensive as hell, but buy once cry once. Mine lives in the truck...
