Thanks. I was able to get the grille cover off, and remove teh two bolts, but the wire harness is like inaccessible and unreachable.

How in the world to you get to the harness clip to remove the center dash JBL speaker? I bought a used replacement off ebay (lots of cross combability) and can't figure out how to get at the harness. Do I need to remove the head unit?

i found the listings on ebay, but no tan ones. i will shoot that ebay seller a msg and see what they make. in the interim, i am using masta plastic stuff. its not best color match, but keeping it all held together.

very similar situation for me too with wife driving our kids in the 4R i picked up some 5th gen (off-road) OEM shocks and springs, going to rip out the XREAS and put them in. already shaved down the front shock bushings to 2mm less wide. adding a daystar 1" leveling kit to the front.

ha yea, learning to shave. i did the map light mod, and tapped the center (2nd row) overhead dome, and ran wires to the front map lights. theres an empty pin in the plugs you can tap. viola now they turn on when you open the doors.
