I tried it again this weekend. The only thing it does it tell me to turn around but does not recalculate another route from where I am at. I guess I will just take it back to the dealer as I looked at the setting this weekend and could not find anything to fix it.

If you leave the original route on mine you can still see the original route but it no longer directs you how to get to the destination and the route does not get updated. You can see the original route if you get close to it but no recalculate.
I have a 2010 Limited with the Navigation system. Is there a way to have the Nav recalculate the route like a Garmin or other GPS systems when you go off course?
