Will this kit work on a 2014 trail w/ cloth?

Thanks bro, makes sense. For how i use mine i should be ok. 4runners are over-engineered like crazy, and i had spacers on my 2000 Tundra and never had issues in 215,000 miles. If i go aftermarket on rims i will avoid getting spacers by getting the proper offset to give the stance i want.

I started this exact thread less than 2 weeks ago, and got a few butthurt responses. Yea the performance is a bit disappointing but it does get better. Could be that its learning my driving or that i'm getting used to the slowness, or possibly im learning how to drive it to get more out of...

I'm with ya, spacers or an offset wheel, same difference. I'm getting the 1.25 on mine soon, i don't like the "fat girl with skinny legs" stance. Spacers should provide an extra measure of stability also.

What im learning is that the ecu enters a certain mode based on your initial level of aggressiveness with the throttle. If you are lazy with the throttle acceleration is gonna be tepid. If you go deeper with the throttle initially, acceleration improves significantly. What I really like...

My 4th gen felt much faster, more "peppy"

Granted i'm coming from a much faster vehicle, but my new 14 4runner trail is a real turtle. It always feels like it it towing a huge load. Its almost like Toyota has programmed everything for gas mileage at the expense of spirited acceleration. I have to really gas it to get it to kick down...

Hiken, I have already applied the Collinite 845 yesterday, how often do you reapply? Autogeeks website swears by the stuff so I bought some for my previous ride. How about the interior? I have the cloth, any worthwhile spray on protectant needed?

honestly, comparing the ride of the 4runner to my sport 335i was like night & day. Handling will never be comparable, just a different kind of vehicle. KDSS is a sought after option on here, must be worth the money for most.

No KDSS. It was a 1700 dollar option and i will never get any value out of it, around here all we have is mud and i rarely use if for off roading. I was tempted just because of the added resale value, but i passed.
