like i said before, offset wheels that stick out from the body will rub even with stock tire size. if you insist on having your tires stick out from the body, you're going to have to trim.

the streaks in the finish are just from my dumb ass trying to wipe them off with a dirty rag. only damage is the chips at the edge. no dents etc.

4 wheels with splined security lugs. SCS F5 17x9 -38 matte black. finish has chips and scratches around rim edge from rocks. no other damage. $sold

I had to do all of those mods to fit -38 offset wheels with stock tires. the tires stuck out about 1.5 " past the body. if you want big tires and a lot of offset with no mods, get a jeep or a full size truck.

do some searching. there's endless threads on this topic. if you do negative offset and bigger tires, you usually have to trim the front plastic, move the fender liner, and sometimes chop the body mount on the frame.

I think 34's are plenty for a 4runner. but...prefer 35's or even 37's for offroading in general.

this is basically what I did, without the fancy d-ring tie downs. I put a legit 4" memory foam mattress in it. it fits a full size mattress. had to cut out the wheel wells. sleep better in there than i do at home.
