Do I need to lift the rear end?

You don't need to lift any. 265 70 17 fit fine in the rear. Front might rub little without the lift.

Buying whole LCA. Moog or Mevotech?

One year update with the Mevotech LCA- Boots are ripped and bushings have a lot of play in them after 15K of normal road driving with some offload mixed in. Would not buy again. Going to rebuild my OEM lower arms with Moog bushings and ball joints. As i get older, i realize that you get what...

    Bilstein 4600

4600 are what came on the tacomas. Plenty of us on the forum use the tacoma suspension swap (me included). They will be fine for a level.

In middle of replacing UCAs, LCAs, CVs, TREs and Shocks...

I disagree with using the SPC cam bolts. Just wire wheel/clean up the OEM bolts and use generous amount of anti seize. People have had good luck with SPC and then their are people who haven't.

    Caliper hitting 6 star 17" rim ??? Rim swap 5 star 17" to 6 atar 17"

You definitely have something wrong with your calipers/hubs/rotors or you have an aftermarket caliper. Those 17s are the sport model and they came with the 13wh calipers. You shouldn't have a problem..

PSA: Don't buy Autozone Reman Brake Calipers

I guess I’m not surprised by all this. In the end - you get what you pay for. I found some 13wh junk yard calipers that I’m going to r &r herbsoon. There are detailed write ups on the process already on here but one more couldn’t hurt.

PSA: Don't buy Autozone Reman Brake Calipers

Back in 2014 I had two frozen front brake calipers and got remans from Autozone. Those lasted 3 years and then suffered from the same corrosion that did in my original OEM front calipers. Fast forward to this weekend - went to autozone and used the life time warranty. Before I put the...

What is wrong with you? Just use the sawzall and get some quality blades. Those bolts are hardened steel and tough to cut through.

Help: part number for brake hard line

I was in the process of changing calipers when my brake line that connects to the caliper started to strip. This is the hard line BEFORE the flex hose. Been looking at Toyota online parts but can’t seem to find the hard line. Anyone have a part number? Much appreciated.

All, I recently lifted and level my 4 runner and now Im going to be replacing the ATF fluid in via the lines near the radiator. Anything I should note when Im doing to fluid level check at the end? Will the leveling of my 4runner mess anything up?
