Black pepper works to plug a leak in a radiator. It's very temporary but I've used that method before and the vehicle did fine.

Just started installing some rubber encased fog lights.

Sounds like the stater is done. I just replaced mine in my 97. The not starting while hot could be bad. Start by replacing the starter. The last time I had a vehicle not start while hot it blew the head gasket within 30 days of the problem starting.

Spare tire and camping gear. That's about it. The spare tire will only be up there until I get a rack for the back bumper.

I have been looking at roof baskets and most of the ones I find are $250 or more. I have decided top make one myself. I am unable to weld and don't want to pay someone to build one. What material would you suggest for a custom basket? The only one I have came up with so far is copper tubing...

I just got my 97 4runner and am looking at going out to tahuya here in Washington. Was wondering if there were some ppl that could give me some advice. My 4runner has 2"spacers than that is stock. Would it survive out there?

If they would have used a longer cable and used an anchor truck they would have doubled their pulling power and pulled in the right direction. Lol
