Mine does the same as well, though I haven't really had time to try and remedy a solution. Keep us posted if you figure anything out.

Easy fix man... it's the purple/red wire on the 20 pin (steering wheel/aux harness). I have a cheapo diagnostic tool that I cleared it with... but you could run down to a parts store or try and reset it with unhooking the battery. But yea, your going to have reset it... And also, if you want...

Good old G19 with a streamlight TLR-1 is what I carry.

Fixed, cut the VSS wire on the steering wheel control harness and no more CEL/Dash lights.. Surprised more people don't run across this problem.

Your probably right man, if you look at the link in the second post to the thread that is how he said he fixed it. "Finally got the unit fully working and no more check engine light. The fixed is to cut the speed sense wire off of the oem harness(the one that connect to the head unit) before...

Yea I know, in my second post i said the VSS was not connected. The parking wire is the only one that I changed and I grounded it out on the frame... everything else just plugged in, speakers/power, and steering/aux controls etc... Going to try a few thing tonight and see what's happens...

I installed a eclipse Avn6620 everything went fine and was pretty much plug and play... everything works fine but, I keep getting this code even after clearing it. Doesn't do it until you start driving for a couple miles down the road... Was something pulled loose? Something need to be...

Yea that's what I thought they should look like... I went ahead and installed them anyways, and sent him a PM to see if I got the right ones for that kit. Either way they are working fine as is.

I ordered one of the Xtreme kit's for 199.00 and it looks like I got the volt bulbs with the Xtreme components? Is this how they come now? If so I will have two extra plugs as I am obviously using the harness... anybody else's look like this? Most installs I have seen the bulbs just have the...
