No I didn't pork out. The 2021 came with TRD wheels on it and that's the only difference between the two.

I traded in a 2016 for a 2021 and never got the nerve to ask you guys if the newer models just sat lower to the ground than the older models. Did they change the ride height or springs on them?

I wanted to ask if it's normal to have creaking noises from these or skid plates in general? Only hear noises at very low speeds and typically when turning in and out of driveways or parking spaces. I posted this as a separate topic and another forum member suggested I post my question here...

I have no idea on the torque. I just tightened it up snug and left it.

This little gasket failed and created quite a mess in my garage. Never had one break like this. Changed my oil on Friday and yesterday I had oil all over the skid plates and front differential. Luckily I had a spare in my tool box and all is good now. I used an OEM oil filter for the change.

The stock Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2021 are much quieter than the K02's that were on my 2016 that I traded in for the new one. Over 10,000 miles on it and no complaints at all with them. Can't say the same for the K02's that never seemed to be in balance over the 60,000 miles I put on them...

Checked the rear differential this morning and it was low on fluid. Topped it off and it needed about six ounces, roughly using the side of the bottle scale, to get it back to normal. Thanks everyone.
