Yeah I was told that from several dealers, however I do not want an extra ugly bulky remote along with the Toyota keyless remote. That's why I opted for the OEM one.

Ended up placing an order with Longo Toyota in El Monte. They are a large Toyota/Lexus dealership with a huge inventory of vehicles. They did not have the 4R I wanted but their internet dept was more than willing to order me one built to spec. Only drawback was I would have to wait 2-3 months...
