I just installed a Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD. The green wire marked parking brake is supposed to go to the power supply side of the parking brake switch. I was under the impression that I could just attatch that wire to ground and it would play. Well its not and it thinks Im driving.
Any suggestions ?
LOL I guess I will probably do whatever I can afford. :D
Not sure on the brand of sub yet. Im going to do a 10" in the same spot the JBL would go. So ill probably want to deaden that part of the car as well.
I have not built the sub enclosure yet. I was just wondering if I should be putting something in there to prevent reflections. I will be changing to 6.5 components up front
I will more than likely do the whole car with maybe the exception of the roof.
I have the peripheral electronics Ipod interface in mine. Works great and has full control through the head unit.
I just bought a new head unit and will be selling the interface in about a week. PM me if your interested in it
Mine sits under the head unit behind the ac controls. The wire comes up through one of the false buttons. I notched it so the wire doesnt get pinched. Those are not very expensive to replace if you ever need to or sell the car.
