This may sound crazy, but I was reading another fourm about this same issue & it turned out to be the battery not having enough power !

All fixed , it was the crank sensor, new exhaust,new O2 sensor new plugs, new wires, dealer diagnosics 4 hours, changed MAF sensor, tried different computer, all one at a time with no avail. A small trouble shooting shop took it for a drive and said it was the crank sensor, I did not want to buy...

Another mechanic just looked at my runner, and said he has run across this before and it was the crank sensor. Has anyone every heard of this or changed theirs, what was the results? Thanks

Don't think it is the drive shaft because as long as I keep it under 3000 rpm, I can get it up to 140kph ?

Dealer and 2 other garages say no codes coming up or in memory. Dearler also tested TPS and said it was OK ?

I'm going through the same right now. 2000 v6 auto, 85.000 km, I have replace muffler ( lifetime warranty ) 3 times in the last 6 months. Raw fuel is going to the exhaust, converter is ok, checked o2 sensors, maf sensor, put a new computer in to check, no go. New plugs go in on Wednesday, will...

A buddy of mine had access to it, I did not have to buy it :o) Just thought we would zero that thought out as it was easy.

Tried new computer today, no difference, will try plugs & wires on Monday
