My '01 came with the Dueler as well, although I don't know which type... I will say, and this was a big deal to me, that they wore out very quickly, at around 37k or so... To me that is not a good tire life and it is why I looked to other brands for the replacements.

I'll also mention the Michelin LTX. I have them on my '01 now and it was a huge improvement in ride and a slight improvement in handling over the Bridgestones that came on it... I wanted to go with the Cross Terrains based on user reviews and feedback, however, these were also rated very highly...

well I am a new member to the forum. Although I wanted to thank whoever posted the tech. specs on how to install the auto-dimming mirror with compass. I was able to sucessfully install the mirror with little difficulty. I am a 3rd gen owner of 4runners which is to say I've owned 3 (1990, 2001)...
