I have the carrier that is lowered from the left side through the bumper. The parts are broken and I can't find replacement parts. I was wondering if anyone has switched to the carrier that lowers from the center. I've seen some of those for sale. Thanks.

So there is nothing underneath the tire holding it up. Is the stuff holding it up all above the tire. Couldn't tell from the diagram. Thanks.
