spare tire carrier

I have the carrier that is lowered from the left side through the bumper. The parts are broken and I can't find replacement parts. I was wondering if anyone has switched to the carrier that lowers from the center. I've seen some of those for sale.

My 93 did not come with 31 inch tires from the factory, and therefore does not have the side winch. Howerver, I've used the center winch with the 31's I've put on, to hold the 31" spare I carry.
